A Gregorian Chant Day will be held at Sacred Heart Church, Wimbledon, on Saturday 12 October 2024, under the auspices of the Schola Gregoriana. It will run from 10.45 a.m to 6.10 p.m., culminating in the singing of 1st Vespers of the Sunday. During the Chant Day the ancient chants of the Church will be rehearsed and explored both historically and musically, considering aspects of modality and stylistic interpretation. This repertoire is uniquely adapted to the participation of beginners as well as to more experienced singers. All music will be provided.
