In common with Prinknash, in Gloucestershire, St. Augustine’s Abbey, Chilworth (formerly at Ramsgate) and St. Mildred’s Abbey, Ramsgate, Pluscarden belongs not the English Benedictine Congregation, but to the Subiaco Cassinese Congregation, the fifth member of which in Britain is St Michael’s Abbey, Farnborough.
